We are offering counselling remotely through a variety of different ways.

Nightingale is committed to your safety and peace of mind. These are unprecedented times for organisations like ourselves, our country and the world.

We are continuing to follow and monitor official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England carefully. It is vitally important for us to ensure that any and all procedures are in place to support the health and well-being of our clients and staff members.

To help combat the spread of COVID-19, we have been putting precautionary safety measures in place, including:

  • Educating members of staff on prevention
  • Emphasizing frequent and proper handwashing
  • Cleaning high contact points more frequently
  • Providing hand sanitizer
  • Working with local health authorities

In the event the UK Government and Public Health England enforce travel and social contact restrictions, I wanted to assure you that we are set up to continue with your therapy sessions.

How we offer Counselling Remotely

We will continue to work with you, remotely, through video calls with Skype, VSEE, ZOOM, FaceTime or WhatsApp.

We understand that not everyone will be comfortable using new technology, so we will also continue to offer counselling sessions by telephone. We must say though, that over the past few weeks more and more people have been using video conferencing applications, such as Zoom, FaceTime and Skype, to keep in contact with friends and loved ones or as part of their work. They are really easy to use and we would be happy to talk you through how we would use them.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us at nightingalescotland@gmail.com or by telephone on 0141 353 9373.
