Our Counsellors

Our counsellors are well-qualified, experienced professionals who are dedicated to providing the very best service and therapy.

At Nightingale Counselling, we pride ourselves on providing you with a counsellor best suited to your issue. We don’t believe one size fits all when it comes to counselling. Our counsellors offer face to face appointments in La Belle Place Glasgow G3. They offer appointments morning, afternoon and evening. We can also work online if it is best suited to your needs using zoom or teams.

When you initially contact Nightingale Counselling, your details will be sent to Florence, our Senior Counselling Consultant. She will be in touch by phone to have a chat with you. She will listen to what you want to achieve through counselling, the issues that you want to address, and generally, find out a little bit more about you. She will then assign you the counsellor, therapist, or psychologist best suited to your personality and specific needs. Florence will let you know about their availability. Ashleigh who is one of our admin support team will call you if Florence is not available

All our counsellors and therapists are qualified to diploma level and have significant experience in their chosen field. At Nightingale Counselling, we are all governed by a code of ethics and practice of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, BACP, COSCA, OR COSRT . We are also committed to continuous professional and personal development to ensure we are offering the most effective and up-to-date therapeutic methodologies.

Working with a specialist counsellor, therapist or psychologist, will bring an immediate sense of relief as they listen, without judgement, and provide honest reflection as you work through your challenges to find comfort and resolution.

The relationship between counsellor and client must be based on trust, empathy, and respect. Sometimes we need to challenge unhelpful patterns of behaviour or thinking, but please be rest assured we all have one aim and that is for you to grow and develop and ultimately feel better.
